CLOUD COMPUTING IS THE FUTURE

We live in the 21st century, and everything has become easier because of modern technology. Not just getting more accessible, but also at the same time, it becomes more complex too. This modern technology helps our job nowadays, like doing homework for the student. The technology can do things humans can’t, for example, processing a large amount of data in a minute or even a second. And technology will always continue to develop from year to year, and it will never stop. One of the examples of technology we will discuss and one-of-a-kind technology that is often used by a lot of companies or individuals and help human do things, Cloud Computing.

Cloud computing is computing services that include servers, storage, database, networking, software, analytics, and intelligence over the internet that offer innovation and flexible resources. There are four different types of cloud computing. The first type is the Public Cloud, a shared, easily accessible, and multi-customer IT infrastructure available to any entity in the general public. The second type of cloud computing is Private cloud or Corporate cloud, which can be accessed only by a single entity or an executive group of related entities with the same purpose. The third type of cloud computing is a Hybrid cloud, a combined public and private cloud that allows data and applications to be shared between them. And the fourth type of cloud of computing is the Vertical cloud, cloud infrastructure, and applications for different businesses like the construction, finance, or insurance business. Each type of cloud computing has other functions and distant targets of customers. For example, individuals often use public clouds, like between person to person, family, or friends. However, unlike the public cloud, the private cloud is often used by organizations, businesses, or companies.

There are seven major benefits of cloud computing:

  • making individuals more productive
  • facilitating collaboration
  • mining insight from data
  • reducing data
  • expanding the scope of business operations
  • responding quickly to market changes
  • customizing products and services

One of the examples of cloud computing that is frequently used is cloud storage. As a user, cloud storage helps to do work or store some files. When we hold our file or document to cloud storage, we can save some free space on our computer, and we don’t have any hardware devices to keep the file or document like a hard disk or flash disk.

Technology will always continue to develop, regardless of era or year. Technology can bring humanity and earth to a better life if we use it wisely and for good purposes, but it can lead humanity and earth to destruction if we use it for bad purposes. Of course, we want it to help humanity be better, but it’s up to us to decide if we wish to use it for a good or harmful purpose.
