CLOUD COMPUTING

As we know, as a result of this globalization, the flow of globalization brings many updates to the world of technology, the world is becoming more and more sophisticated with technology supporters that have developed rapidly, and one of the supporters of this technology development is cloud computing, cloud computing is already widely used by companies.  Large companies such as E bay, Google, Apple, Amazon, Microsoft and many other large companies and small companies.

Cloud computing turns the IT infrastructure into a service, it allows users to connect to the infrastructure through the internet and use computer services without installing and maintaining them on-site. On-demand access to computing services via the internet, in a remote data center operated by a cloud service provider, are cloud computing, software, physical and virtual servers, data storage, hardware, network technology and more (or CSP). The subscription fee is based on how much and how long the users used it.

Compare to the traditional IT, cloud computing helps its users to have lower IT cost, because the cloud helps its users to load some or most of the expense and effort of buying, installing, maintaining their user private on-site infrastructure. It saves a lot of time, it could be done within minutes with the cloud, instead of waiting for a long period of time for IT to respond to a request, purchase supporting devices, and update software. Cloud computing also helps users to encourage and help themselves with software and support infrastructure especially developers and data scientists. Instead of purchasing surplus storage that sits idle during sluggish hours, cloud infrastructure provides versatility, consumers can scale capacity up and down in response to spikes and decreases in traffic. Users can also advantage the global network to let people worldwide know more about our applications.

With the four services of cloud computing, it enables cloud providers to make maximum use of their data resources. It offers the following :

  1. SaaS ( Software as a Service ), which you can view and use from a web browser integrates with the smartphone operating system or laptop allows it’s users to do automatic upgrades.
  2. PaaS ( Platform as a Service ) provides on-demand software developers with hardware, full software , technology, and even development tools to run, create, and handle content, cloud company hosts all in its servers, networks, storage, operating system applications, databases. 3
  3.  IaaS ( Infrastructure as a Service ) enables end users to minimize resources as appropriate, removing the need for high up-front capital investment to meet occasional usage.
  4. Serverless Computing offloads all the functions of scaling, scheduling, patching-to the cloud vendor, allowing developers to spend their resources on their applications-specific technology.

Each company must have different data and needs, therefore, there are 4 types of cloud computing that can be used by companies that need them according to their needs. At first, we have public cloud, it enables users to use a virtual infrastructure via a collection of publicly available shared servers over a public network. Second is private cloud, driven by the ability to quickly consume and adjust the distribution of resources by a system of self-service that needs no contact with the internal IT teams of users. Third is hybrid cloud, which is a combination between public and private clouds, these multiple cloud environments must be closely integrated, operating essentially as one combined infrastructure. The last one, we have vertical cloud which is a collection of applications for cloud infrastructure that are made for use in a specific business model or market.
