Legacy Programme 18th Asian Games Jakarta Palembang 2018

Indonesia Asian Games Organizing Committee (INASGOC) and the International Games Broadcast Services (IGBS), the Host Broadcaster of the 18th Asian Games Jakarta Palembang 2018, under its Legacy Programme offers internships to highly motivated and committed students who wish to build upon their university education with practical work experience in the fast-paced world of sports broadcasting. There are several exciting internship positions available.

Legacy Programme Internship

The objective of the internship is to give you a first-hand impression of the working environment of the sports broadcast industry. You will be given a real chance to work with international professionals. As part of our team, working directly with outstanding and career professionals, you will be exposed to the host broadcast operation of the highest level.

Information will be made available through partnered university and students should also attend the Internship Information Presentation at their own campuses on the host broadcasting functions of the 18th Asian Games Jakarta Palembang 2018 and the internship options. Dates and Schedule will be made available by University management.

Period of Internship: The internship period will vary from 10 days to 40 days starting 1 August to 2 September 2018 for event time roles. Selected positions will start as early as 15 January onwards till 2 September 2018.

Vignette Competition

International Games Broadcast Services (IGBS) is looking for talented storytellers to create dynamic and original promotional short videos using the themes below to celebrate the 18th Asian Games Jakarta Palembang 2018. Students from IGBS partner universities are invited to apply. This would be a unique opportunity to see their work used worldwide to promote the event.

An online submission portal will open in December 2017 and run in four phases until May 2018. The winning videos will be sent to the broadcaster of the 18th Asian Games Jakarta Palembang 2018. There will be a dinner/event (Premiere) to celebrate the winners and their work.
