The Impact Of UI/UX On Customer Satisfaction In Using Public Transportation Applications
Public transportation has become an essential part of urban mobility, especially due to the increase in air pollution and congestion in large cities like Jakarta. The purpose of this research is to determine whether UI/UX plays a
significant role in user satisfaction and to what extent this perception influences the level of user satisfaction when using public transportation applications. To determine how much respondents felt supported by the introduction of apps on public transportation, this study used the Slovin model. A questionnaire was given to 152 respondents in Jakarta to gather data for this study. Based on research conducted using the SmartPLS application, most respondents (150 individuals) acknowledged the noteworthy influence of technology advancements on public transportation, especially when considering the use of applications. Just two respondents thought it was unimportant to be informed of how applications are used in public transportation. This study significantly advances knowledge of the role that technology innovation plays in improving the effectiveness and convenience of public transportation while tackling the problems associated with contemporary urban mobility. The study’s practical implications imply that to increase public acceptability and utilization of public transportation, governments and transportation providers should concentrate more on creating and promoting such applications
