About Proto-A-Thon 2026

We are pleased to announce our upcoming International Prototype Design Competition, “Proto-A-Thon 2026”. This competition focuses on digital innovation and user-centered design with the theme “Transforming Food Supply Chains with Innovative Digital Experiences”, in collaboration with ID FOOD, Indonesia’s state-owned food holding company.

Participants will be challenged to design digital solutions that improve the efficiency, transparency, and user experience within the food ecosystem, covering areas such as production, distribution, logistics, and consumption.

The competition consists of two rounds:

Preliminary Round
In the preliminary round, each registered team will be given a real-world case related to the food supply chain ecosystem. Teams are required to analyze the problem and propose a solution in the form of a Pitch Deck (maximum 25 slides).

Final Round
The final round will be held in a hybrid format, where the top 10 selected teams will advance to compete. During this stage, teams will participate in a 12-hour live prototyping challenge, where they will refine and develop their solution into a high-quality prototype using tools such as Figma or other design platforms.

Proto-A-Thon 2026 emphasizes innovation, user experience, and real-world impact, encouraging participants to create meaningful digital solutions for a more efficient and sustainable food ecosystem.
