About Proto-A-Thon 2024

We are happy to announce our upcoming International Prototype Design Competition, “Proto-A-Thon”. This competition is a prototype design competition with the theme “Education Technology for Disability”, organized by the Business Information Technology (BIT) program, School of Information Systems, in collaboration with the Psychology Program and Academic & Student Development Binus@Bekasi.

The competition is divided into 2  rounds:

• Preliminary Round
• Final Round

At the preliminary round, each registered team will be given a real case related to the Education Technology for Disability and solve the challenge!

Each team must submit the solution in PITCH DECK format.

The final round will be held Hybrid by 10 selected teams. The 10 selected teams will design a prototype using any prototyping software, for 12 hours non-stop.

April 1st – May 1st 2024 – Open Registration

2nd of May 2024 – Case Release

12nd of May – 22nd of May 2024 – Pitchdeck Submission

29th of May 2024 – Top 10 Announcement

4th of June – Technical Meeting (Zoom)

5th of June 2024 – 12 Hours Live Prototype (Hybrid Mode)

6th of June 2024 – Final Presentation

Our Judging Criteria

Judges will score entries for entered category based on the following judging criteria:

– Creativity and Originality
– Presentation
– Usability
– UX Methodology
– User Requirements
