GREEN COMPUTING- Part 1

Information Technology has become one of the part of modern life that influence daily need for human activities in this era. In this modern life, technology is used by all areas of life, such as in medical area, in meteorologist, and so an other area of that use informational technology as equipment to help and facilitate human to solving the problem. The trend of technology is always changes in several month, just in a few month there a new kind of inovation in IT world that is the reason why technology is growing fastly in year to year. The effect of the IT development has made a high of energy consumption that cause a new problem in using earth resources.

In recent few years, we have been heard a lot of energy issues such as increasing energy cost, save potential and environmental issue. All of this problem is need to be solve in order to save a more resources that can efficiently press the energy consumption. An other issue is environmental issue that have a big concern in IT, because environment have huge impact in human life, that’s why people have to find a new way to use of energy that can solve or cut down of the problem who had raised. And the answer of the problem is adopt of green computing.

Green computing is the use of computers and related resources in an environmentally responsible manner. This involves the implementation of energy-efficient central processing units (CPUs), servers and peripherals as well as proper disposal of electronic waste (e-waste). Green computing, also called green technology, is the environmentally responsible use of computers and related resources. Such practices include the implementation of energy-efficient central processing units (CPUs), servers and peripherals as well as reduced resource consumption and proper disposal of electronic waste (e-waste). Green computingis the way effective use of computer systems and efisien , utilization energy consumption and is responsible for the waster an componentthat are not needed. (Woody Leonhard, 2009). According to Tripathi , Praveen (2012) . Green Computing is the study and the realization of the use of computing resources efficiently and environment friendly. Computers would have made the most part of many human life and traditionally very damaging the environment. Manufacturers of computer and it’s parts have search the green solutions to help protect the environment from the computer and electronic waste with any way. Energy Star has started a “Green computing” that is to maintain control of the movementthe use of toxic materials , energy conservation wasted by computer as the machine at the time of idle( duration of time when a devices in a static condition . In other words devices, it live or active , but can not be used for work ). This is clearly is an attempt to spread the basic needs green computing to protect the environment .
